I recently went to an exciting three-day Camp in Milano, Italy.
Over a year I tried to make to the Leglock Camp. But my private schedule or the distance were making it impossible.
The Milan Camp was not far away from my hometown and it was over the weekend.
So time to finally make it!
Getting here
On Friday afternoon we jumped in the car and drove down to Milan. After 3.5 hours we were just in time for the first training session.
BJJ
Since a couple of years Mateusz Szczecinki and Kamil Wilk are doing Camps all over the world.
This one was in Urban Arena in Milan, Italy.
Like the name of the camp says already, it’s all about leglocks.
The training sessions were around 90 minutes long. 60 minutes of technique followed by 30 minutes of sparring. In the technical part, they showed around 2-4 techniques from one guard or position. They teach with high energy and a lot of fun.
Food and drinks
Italian cuisine is more than just food; it’s a celebration of life, flavor, and passion on every plate. From vibrant, sun-ripened tomatoes and creamy mozzarella to the aroma of fresh basil and garlic sizzling in olive oil, Italian dishes burst with bold, authentic flavors that are unmatched anywhere in the world.
Italy’s culinary magic lies in its simplicity. With just a handful of top-quality ingredients, Italians create dishes that are pure art. Think of a perfect Margherita pizza with its thin, soft crust, fresh tomato sauce, and gooey mozzarella—so simple, yet utterly unforgettable. Or a rich pasta carbonara, where the creamy sauce and perfectly cooked pasta feel like a hug with each bite.
It will always be one of my favorite.
Looking Back
It was a short and intensive camp. 3 days 5 trainings and a lot of sparring. I definitely will join in another Leglock Camp.
