Relaxing, Sightseeing and Train with Cyborg

After leaving LA we stopped for a week in Miami. It was my third time in Miami but the first time I trained.

We stayed at Miami Beach (where else..) lucky me, we had a rental car. The gym of Roberto Cyborg Abreu (Fight Sports Club) was located downtown. It only takes around 20 minutes to drive over.

One year after winning his ADDC World Championship I was able to train with Cyborg and his Team.

Training

The Fight Sports members were happy to have a visitor in their gym. I felt instantly welcome.

Most of the time I trained here as well in the morning to spent the rest of the day with my friends.

The morning classes weren`t guided by Cyborg but he was most of the time around to do some strength training.

On the last day in Miami my friends went on an earlier flight than I and they also brought back the rental car. At this day I went to the Gym by bus, which was a bit of an adventure.

I finally made it to an afternoon class which was guided by Cyborg himself. The afternoon classes were more crowded than the morning.

It was crazy how much energy Cyborg brought to the mats. I hope one day I can make it back to his gym.

A little bonus we have in Switzerland is: Cyborg is coming every year for a seminar!

There are more gyms in Miami, here some of them:

Atos, Alpha, Everyone, Montanha, Rilion Gracie and Rio Heros.
